What is hands only cpr?
I would like to take a cpr course to become certified. You never know when you may be faced with an emergency that would require you to use cpr. I have been hearing a lot about hands only cpr. What is hands only cpr? Is it different from the cpr that is taught when you take a course through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross? Or is it the method that those organizations teach? I thought you had to do rescue breaths in between chest compressions. The term hands only sounds as if you do chest compressions only. Is that correct?
