Keeping warm never mind the weather

A few weeks ago my youngest daughter told me that she was feeling quite cold when she walked to school. After taking a look at her jacket I found that it was quite old and really needed to be replaced. Now that I have done it I have found that girl’s jackets are much better than they used to be, because they are now very stylish and really do the business. I really should have taken my daughter to buy a jacket much sooner. But now that she has a new one she is very pleased with it and does not feel cold in the slightest.

The excitement of a new wardrobe for Spring

Incredible that last week we were laboring under 40 degree temps and now it's 72 at 8:00 a.m. Sort of throws you in to a flurry of Spring activity, makes you think about all those old dresss, jeans and shorts you just hauled up from the basement to say nothing of the outmoded, outdated and bleached out swimwear and tops from the beach last year.

Well, I have the best tonic for you.  Take the plunge and go through your Spring/Summer wardrobe with a new sense of urgency and determination to act on the adage "out with the old, and in with the new". You are going to be so deliriously happy when you get it done and start cruising online looking for how you will dress for spring.  This is going to be one beautiful season, Girl! Go for it!

Consult a Professional Antique Appraiser

A good antique furniture value lookup will incorporate the history of the item including its origin and the number of similar items made during its era. Some items will have greater value simply because of their rich historical backgrounds. Consulting a professional antique appraiser is the ideal approach for getting the right number for your investment. Before selling any of your fine pieces of furniture from generations past, try to get a professional estimate of their value. An antique furniture value lookup is the perfect starting point.

Some People Never Change…Some Do!

She was never going to amount to anything. That’s what they all said back in high school. Well, its been 12 years. She was always the wallflower, the one no one ever paid any attention to. Now…its all changed. She looks great! Like a million dollars and she dressed to the max and has LOTS of dates. I was happy for her and we hadn’t seen each other in so long. I asked her to lunch and we sat down at a quaint little Mexican food restaurant near downtown Austin. We talked and caught up on what’s going on but I couldn’t wait to ask her what had happened to make her change so much and how did she become so successful. She was kind of shy at first but she finally just blurted out, “Sam, I make big bucks selling designer handbags!” I was flabergasted! All these years I would never have thought of her as a salesperson. She told me she works right out of her home and travels extensively. She said, “if I can do this, anyone can but most people don’t know how to get started. I had a friend show me the ropes but anyone can do this if they just know where to start.” To this day, she continues to make a vast amounts of money and she’s still just selling designer handbags out of her house. I’m totally amazed!
