Surprising how people devote so much time and energy behind grooming their dogs for the show. They are taught how to carry the dresses they are made to wear. No matter what the season the dogs are not disturbed to wear the costumes they are given. Comfortable summer clothes in pink are the latest preference now. Stunning beach wear, is unique to watch. The accessories, like hats, scarves, ribbons, pendants and glasses that go with them make rasta dog collars interesting.
In Douglas County Oregon the Roseburg Country Club is going into the composting business. In order to maintain the golf course in it pristine green condition they will be using compost tea made from the castings of red wiggler composting worms and water. Country Club managers will be building and the maintaining worm bins and the tea pots necessary to produce the tea. Club officials having seen the results of compost tea in other parts of the county believe this will not only produce greener greens but save them money in the long run on fertilizer and the reduction in water usage.
When I was 10 my parents went out and purchased us a 40-gallon tank with a filter and a salt-water setup. They were both novices when it came to fish, though, and within a week we had accidentally killed all 6 of the fish we purchased initially.
