Cold Or Allergies? Hard To Tell

A lot of times, whether a person has a cold or is suffering from allergies is hard to tell. They share many of the same upper respiratory symptoms. However, colds are caused by viruses and allergies are caused by the body’s response to specific allergens. Therefore, they are treated quite differently. Colds can last two weeks or longer. They are also contagious. Allergies last even longer than a cold but cannot spread from person to person.
